CELLAR DOORS
Cellar doors are designed for installation on areaways with sloped sidewalls built into the home’s foundation. Doors can be installed on sidewalls of brick, stone, block, or poured concrete.
Foundations and sidewalls can settle or sag over time. Normally this will not cause more than decorative issues or affect the door. Though it is important to remedy any change in sloping when needed, such as concrete mudjacking for entrances built on concrete slabs.
